The Arizona Cardinals have not yet interviewed him, but they could be looking at another potential candidate to be their next head coach. They are interested in Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

Gannon led the league’s No. 2 defense and has been the defensive coordinator for two seasons.

Gannon was interviewed for the Houston Texans’ head coaching vacancy, which is now expected to be San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans.

The Cardinals most recently interviewed former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton and are mulling whether to hire him or move on with other candidates.

Gannon would add another coach to the mix.
