It did not take long for Shawn Jefferson to find new employment. After two seasons on Kliff Kingsbury’s offensive coaching staff as a wide receivers coach and associate head coach, he was let go by new head coach Jonathan Gannon.
But he already has another job.
The Carolina Panthers announced that Jefferson was hired to be their wide receivers coach under new head coach Frank Reich.
The Panthers are Jefferson’s sixth team as a coach. He players 13 years in the NFL and has been coaching receivers since 2006 with the Lions, Titans, Dolphins, Jets, Cardinals and now Panthers.
