Betting odds still point to Cardinals trading No. 3 pick

When the NFL draft begins at the end of the month, the Arizona Cardinals will have the decision of either making a selection with the third overall pick in the draft or trade it.

They have a lot of needs and could use the extra picks to fill the roster and they could also use an elite pass rusher like Alabama’s Will Anderson.

If you look at betting odds, it is most likely that the Cardinals trade their pick.

BetMGM has the favorite player to be drafted third overall being Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson.

He is listed at -150 odds.

If Richardson is selected, it won’t be the Cardinals. They already have Kyler Murray, who they believe is a franchise quarterback.

Here are the odds for the different players:

  • Florida QB Anthony Richardson -150 (bet $150 to win $100, 60.0% implied odds)
  • Alabama EDGE Will Anderson +275 (bet $100 to win $275, 26.67% implied odds
  • Kentucky QB Will Levis +700 (bet $100 to win $700, 12.5% implied odds)
  • Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud +1000 (bet $100 to win $1,000, 9.09% implied odds)

Alabama QB Bryce Young, Texas Tech EDGE Tyree Wilson and Georgia DL Jalne Carter also have odds listed but all longer than +1000.
