The Arizona Cardinals’ first opponent of the season are the Washington Commanders, whom they face on the road in Week 1.
The Commanders finished in last place in the NFC East in 2022 and are again projected to be a last-place team in 2023.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, their projected win total is 6.5.
They are +100 to win seven games or more and -122 to win six or fewer games.
Essentially, they are bout 5% in terms of implied odds to win six or fewer games than seven or more games.
The Cardinals have projected win total of 4.5 in 2023. The Over is +110 and the Under is -142.
In terms of implied odds, they are about 11% more likely to have no more than four wins than to have five or more.
So the Commanders are projected to be a little better than the Cardinals.
That said, the Commanders are strong seven-point favorites to beat the Cardinals in Week 1.
