The Arizona Cardinals lost to the Seattle Seahawks 20-10 on Sunday in Week 7 with a solid defensive performance. They logged 60 defensive snaps in the loss.
How was the playing time divided up?
Below we go over the defensive snap counts for every individual player who got into the game, grouped by position.
Jonathan Ledbetter, 44; Kevin Strong, 35; Donte Stills, 26; Roy Lopez, 26; Leki Fotu, 23
Ledbetter, fully healthy, got the most playing time. He and Strong are developing into the main guys.
Zaven Collins, 38; Victor Dimukeje, 28; Cameron Thomas, 24; BJ Ojulari, 20; Dennis Gardeck, 18
Jesse Luketa was a healthy scratch for the game and left off the active roster. Ojulari played more than Gardeck in this particular game. It is still a solid rotation.
Kyzir White, 60; Josh Woods, 52
No other player played linebacker. Woods came off the field only for their bigger nickel package, keeping a five-man front.
Marco Wilson, 60; Starling Thomas, 60; Garrett Williams, 26
Kei’Trel Clark was healthy and active but did not even play a single snap on defense or special teams. He was limited all week with a hamstring issue, meaning Thomas got most of the practice reps. Williams made his NFL debut and played in the slot.
Budda Baker, 60; Andre Chachere, 60
There was no three-safety rotation this week. In what might be viewed as a surprise, Chachere got the start instead of K’Von Wallace. Wallace only played on special teams.
